LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Vernon, Alabama woman is accused of stealing from her employer 20 times before being arrested.
Carol Brown, 46, is charged with embezzlement.
Lowndes County investigators say more than 11 hundred dollars was taken from the Sprint Mart on Highway 45 North between March and May.
Store management alerted deputies to the alleged crime.
Brown was terminated from her job on June 4th.
The incident remains under investigation.
