SHUQUALAK, Miss. (WCBI) -A Noxubee County man is dead after being shot in the head in Shuqualak Thursday night, and another man is behind bars.

Noxubee County deputies responded to a shooting on Church Street in Shuqualak around 6:30 P.M.
Investigators identified Christopher Scott as a Person of Interest.
Scott turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office.
Officials have not released the name of the victim.
