Columbus Police Bust 2 for Cocaine Possession

[PRESS RELEASE]

COLUMBUS, Miss.

On August 2^nd at approximately 01:00 a.m., Columbus Police officers stopped a vehicle on 15^th Street North and 7^th Avenue North.    During the stop, officers found suspected illegal narcotics which was identified as Cocaine.   The driver, Mark Shanklin, and passenger, Jacquaires Morris are both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine).

Charged with:  Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)

Bond was set at $15,000 by Municipal Court Judge Rhonda Ellis

Jacquaires Morris (21 yoa)

423 17^th Street South

Columbus, MS

Charged with:  Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)

Bond was set at $10,000 by Municipal Court Judge Rhonda Ellis
