TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Police say one of the victims injured in a weekend shooting in Tupelo, has passed away.
30-year-old Mackenie Smith, passed away at 11:05 P.M. Wednesday. Investigators say he was shot four times during the incident, and was the intended target.
Another victim was also struck during the gunfire.
24-year-old Nicholas Pack, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, prior to the victim’s death.
On Wednesday, a judge set Pack’s bond at $3 million.
Police say Pack was at the Waffle House, around 2:30 A.M. Sunday, when the incident unfolded.
