MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Monroe County deputies recover several thousand dollars of stolen property.
Investigators say good information and a lot of work led investigators to the items.
Construction equipment, guns, a four wheeler, and a fishing boat were found.
Deputies believe the items were taken for quick cash.
Now, they want to get everything back to the owners.
“On our guns and everything, we’re just making sure we get them out of the hands of our career criminals, whether a thief, or a drug dealer, or whatever, to make sure they get back to the rightful owners, where at some point we’re not standing on the bad side of them,” says Investigator Tony Coxey.
A couple of arrests have been made and more are expected.
