NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Five people are indicted in connection with a beating that left a Noxubee County man paralyzed.
Jerrico Dooley, Jamie Welch, and Douglas King Jr. are all charged with aggravated assault.
Court documents accuse the men of stomping and beating the victim.
Meanwhile, Santerio Lashawn Tate and Taylor Conner were indicted for hindering prosecution.
Charles Womack was beaten in August 2015.
At one point he was on life support in a Tupelo hospital after blows to the head.
We spoke to Womack’s family in September 2015.
No court date has been set.
