CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Calhoun County couple is charged with child abuse after a marijuana bust.
Kayla Adams, 23, is charged with child abuse.
Kenneth Gardener, 24, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, manufacture of marijuana, and child abuse.
Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says a tip received a tip from a resident that saw marijuana growing at the couple’s County Road 282 home.
Two marijuana plants and about 30 grams of processed dope were found at the Banner community house.
Pollan says the child abuse charge come from a child being at the home with drugs.
