PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – One person is arrested in connection with a weekend shooting in Pickens County.
Jeremy McMullen is charged with assault first degree.
The shooting happened Saturday night, just north of Pickensville on Highway 86.
One man was shot in the leg. He was treated and released from the hospital.
The other victim was shot in the abdomen and remains in the hospital.
The district attorney’s office says the investigation is ongoing and there could be more arrests.
