CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Charges are changed and the investigation into a father accused of raping his daughter is bound over to a grand jury.
Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says Jose Antonio Maldonado is now charged with sexual battery instead of rape and possession of marijuana.
He’s accused of impregnating his daughter.
The victim told investigators she was raped several times over a period of several years.
Pollan says some incidents happened in Calhoun County and others happened in Florida.
