OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford man is jailed on a sexual assault charge.

Investigators with the Oxford Police Department arrested 21-year-old Matthew Haughey Tuesday for a sexual assault charge filed last week.
On December 2nd, OPD received a call about an alleged sexual assault that took place at Haughey’s residence.
After talking to the victim, charges were filed against Haughey and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Haughey turned himself in.
His bond was set at $10,000 dollars.
