COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man wanted for assault charges has been arrested.
Eddie Lee Stokes of Brooksville turned himself into the Noxubee County Jail on Wednesday.
Stokes was charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault and 2 counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The charges follow an incident that happened May 11, 2021 around the 400 block of 7th Street South in Columbus.
Stokes has been transferred to the Lowndes County Correctional Facility.
No bond has been set.
