OXFORD, MISS. (WCBI) – Oxford police have arrested a woman in connection with an infant’s death at a daycare center.
23-year-old Amy Rogers was arrested Wednesday. She’s charged with culpable negligence manslaughter.
The investigation began on November 17th at Mother Goose Daycare where an 8-week-old infant died.
The daycare’s license has since been suspended by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Bond for Rogers is set a 50,000 dollars.
Police did not release any other details surrounding the investigation.
