LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A teenager faced charges in Lee County after allegedly making threats to schools in the area on social media.
The sheriff’s department began investigating the incident after finding out about the post on Wednesday morning. The investigation revealed it was a 14-year-old in Lee County who posted the threat.
Investigators said the threat did not mention a particular person or school and they believed this is an isolated incident.
The 14-year-old remains in custody.
