ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Aberdeen police are searching for a gunman after an early morning shooting, near an apartment complex.
Police Chief Henry Randle said the victim was found lying in the road on Hardy Street, by Southview Apartments.
Investigators told WCBI that Chico Harris Jr. was shot in the abdomen and the leg about 2 a.m.
Harris was found about 5 a.m.
Randle said his officers are searching for the shooter and an accomplice.
