WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A man accused of two burglaries nearly a month ago was arrested.
James Hampton Chism was charged with two counts of Burglary and on a bench warrant.
West Point police said the burglaries happened on March 13 and 14 at a home on South Division Street and at a home on Commerce Street.
Police said numerous items were taken from both homes.
Chism is in the Clay County Jail and is expected to be arraigned sometime Friday.
