A former EMCC and Calhoun City football player is in the Calhoun County jail.
21-year-old Brieton Sykes is charged with sexual battery.
Derma police declined to release any information about the on-going investigation, at this time.
Sykes was regarded as one of the best running backs in the state back in 2016.
