WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The teenager charged in a deadly shooting in Winston County appeared in court Wednesday.
Jared Hannah, 18, was charged with murder. He’s accused of shooting Katavis Miller, 18.
It happened just before 11 a.m. Tuesday in Noxapater.
Miller was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Hannah was taken into custody a few hours after the shooting.
His next court appearance is set for March 27.
