NOXUBEE CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County man is out of jail on bond after being accused of stabbing his wife.
46-year-old Arthur Fortner is charged with aggravated assault.
Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grasseree says the stabbing happened during an argument at the couple’s Shuqualak home last week.
The woman was treated and released from the hospital for her injuries.
Deputies continue to investigate the incident.
