
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Departments makes more meth arrests for the second time this week.
Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Robert Christopher Ellis, 44, of Nettleton was arrested Monday night and charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jason Ford Hurley, 47, of Amory was also arrested last night and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell.

Ellis was caught with ice and so was Hurley, who was also caught with guns and several thousand dollars.
This is the second time in six weeks Monroe deputies have arrested Hurley.
Both men are currently being housed the Monroe County Detention Center waiting arraignment.
