
NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond is set for the man accused of shooting his father in Brooksville.
Everett Shields is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Discharging a Firearm in the city limits.

His bond was set today, February 20, at just over $100,000.
Investigators say there was a younger person nearby when Shields allegedly fired.
Elvis Shields, 49, was shot last week on Meadowbrook Drive in Brooksville.
He was shot multiple times.
Everett Shields remains in the Noxubee County jail.
