COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police are looking for the person who tried to rob a woman in the Walmart parking lot.
They believe they have a person of interest on surveillance video.

Investigators say the attempted robbery happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. on August 4.
The victim told police the suspect was carrying an assault rifle, and demanded her purse.
She refused, and the attempted robber took off in a dark colored car.
