LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies are investigating three pick-up thefts, including one that was set on fire.
Investigators say the thieves crashed through a fence at the Lowndes County road department’s facility on Cal-Vernon Road early Tuesday morning.
They set fire to a stolen truck that was taken from an area business.
Before leaving the equipment barn, two trucks were taken from the road department.
The vehicles are described as a white GMC pick-up with a water tank on the back.
Deputies say the other truck is a white Ford F-150 extended cab.
